Showcase your talents at the Mapp Gallery!
GeoAlberta invites you to submit your maps to the Mapp Gallery competition. Maps are displayed throughout the conference and are judged by an expert panel of judges. With a large number of attendees from a variety of industries, this is a great opportunity to show Western Canada your work! Winners are announced during the conference and presented with some fantastic prizes!
NEW this year GeoAlberta has an App category as Apps on mobile devices have made geospatial information available to everyone, anywhere at any time; the theme of GeoAlberta 2012! Have you developed an App that includes location? GeoAlberta and the geospatial community wants to see your App. You do not need to be part of the core geospatial community to showcase your App, heck even better if you haven't even heard of GeoAlberta before! We welcome schools!
For GeoAlberta's 10th Anniversary celebration, GeoAlberta is pleased to be hosting a Map competition for Schools. GeoAlberta and its member organizations wanted to give back to classrooms of Alberta and are sponsoring the School Maps prizes. Read more here on School map submission guidelines..
Cost
Participation in the Mapp Gallery competition is free for everyone! You do not need to be registered for the conference to participate in the Mapp Gallery.
Sponsors
Sponsors make the Mapp Gallery competition possible and will be recognized at the Mapp Gallery poster area, on the GeoAlberta website and in the awards presentation. To sponsor a prize please send an email to mapgallery@geoalberta.com.
