Open Source Web Mapping for Engineers, Surveyors and Consultants

Autodesk Mapguide is a low cost, rapid deployment, easy to use, web-based tool for sharing all forms of data. It is a popular GIS tool used by Engineers, Surveyors, Consultants and Governments. Recently Autodesk the Manufacturer of this software has made the software Open Source. In this presentation ImaginIt Technologies will show some samples, demonstrate setting up a quick website, and expand on the future of this GIS Tool.

Speaker Biography

Randeep Mangat

Mr. Mangat is presently an employee of ImaginIt Technologies, he has more than more than five years of experience in design, development and deployment of Geographic Information System (GIS) applications, related directly to Infrastructure solutions, environmental planning and utilities management.

Mr. Mangat has been teaching Autodesk and ESRI based products at SAIT (Southern Alberta Institute of Technology) for over four years and has done or participated in customized training sessions offered to Civil, Municipal and Oil & Gas clients.
