Mobile Real Time Disconnected - Data Management

FORMotion Systems brings a dynamic new approach to a GIS enabled Mobile Workforce, by empowering the mobile worker with tools to effectively and efficiently execute their work, without the need for expensive and often unreliable wireless connections. Templates will be demonstrated in the workshop to demonstrate how your company can fully deploy enterprise mobility applications faster and more successfully then previously thought possible. FSRapidDeploy also will be demonstrated to the during the workshop. Each FORMotion System's Solution Template is fully configurable to meet your exacting business requirements, while maintaining full compatibility with future FORMengine upgrades. FORMotion System's Solution Templates will enable you to deploy a full cycle solution in your GIS enabled data management.

Speaker Biographies

John Dobie

John Dobie is the COO at The Agrigis Corp. John has 30+ years experience in the Electrical Utility industry, during which time he pushed the envelope on technology advancements in all aspects of the Utility Field. Transmission and Distribution Lines experience, Customer Services Technical Management and GIS Solutions management roles, have prepared John to manage and implement solutions across any Mobile workforce and ensure success.

John has partnered with FORMotion Systems to bring total GIS enabled data management solutions to the remote and rugged mobile computing world.

John is a Senior Certified Electrical Technolist, as well as a Journeyperson Power Maintenance Electrician.

Alexander Duff

Alexander Duff is the President and COO of FORMotion Systems. For more than 15 years, Alex has developed cutting edge solutions for complex data management/data warehousing problems. The experience Alex has gained in his years of working in all aspects of data management have given him a deep understanding of the issues that customers face on a daily basis and have prepared him with the skills and knowledge required to drive success in the disconnected mobility marketplace.

Prior to co-founding FORMotion systems, Alex held senior positions at RBC Financial, Platinum Technology Inc., Microstrategy Inc., and Capgemini. His responsibilities ranged from working with senior client's executives to develop data management/warehousing visions and strategies for the client's organizaton, to direct leadership of multi-million dolar data warehousing/business intelligence implentations.

Alex holds a Bachelors of Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering from Ryerson University in Toronto.

David Edwards

David Edwards is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at FORMotion Systems. David is responsible for the development of customer relationship strategies in the disconnected mobility marketplace. growing FORMotion System's presence and profile as an industry leader and developing channel partnership relations in the mobile data management segment.

David's wealth of experience in both technology and marketing provide him with the skill and knowledge to lead the sales and marketing organization. David has held progressively senior positions at Capgemini, Inergi LP, TD Waterhouse and TD Financial Group. David holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Geomatics from the University of Toronto.
