Session AbstractGPS Data Collection and Processing within the Geodatabase This presentation will be an overview of the functionality of ArcPad, GPS Correct, and GPS Analyst. ArcPad is ESRI field software. GPS Correct is an extension to ArcPad that allows data to be processed for higher accuracy. GPS Analyst is an extension to the ESRI ArcGIS software, providing differential correction, viewing, and editing of GPS data. GPS Analyst is the ideal data processing solution for customers who work with ESRI ArcGIS software and who use GPS for data collection and maintenance. It provides the same differential correction and data analysis capabilities that are offered in GPS Pathfinder Office, with the advantage of storing and working with GPS data in the native ESRI GIS format, the geodatabase. The presentation will cover the process of moving data from the GIS into the field and back to the GIS, all staying within the geodatabase. There will be an opportunity to use equipment outdoors.
