Guidelines, Rules, & Regulations
for Speakers
Materials Costs: Production costs for all material
such as handouts is the responsibility of the speaker(s).
Vendor Workshop Fees: There is a charge to the
vendor of $400 for each half-day workshop (vendor workshops only).
Payment will be required as soon as the Vendor's workshop is formally
accepted. No refunds will be issued after payment is received.
Presentation Format: Presenters are expected
to develop a high-quality computer-generated presentation for
the conference. We encourage speakers to use the official GeoAlberta
PowerPoint presentation template located in our downloads
section. The conference logo can also be found there for your
use.
Publishing papers and presentations: All submitted
abstracts, bios, papers, and presentation files will be made available
on the conference website or in conference proceedings. If we
do not receive your presentation file before the conference, the
room monitor will ask to download your presentation to a USB memory
stick for posting to the conference website.
