Selection Criteria

Abstracts for all presentations will be reviewed and selected by the GeoAlberta Speakers Committee. There is strong competition for presentation sessions, so a good abstract submission is important to help increase the chances of your abstract being selected. The GeoAlberta Conference Speakers Committee will select abstract submissions using the following criteria:

  • Real-life examples of how others are implementing and using Geomatics and GIS in their own organizations to enable strategic and operational initiatives effectively
  • Exposure to cutting edge tools and insights into best practices that attendees can apply to their daily work

Quality: Abstracts will be reviewed for quality, originality, and innovation. They will be reviewed and ranked for acceptance and placement in the program.
