There are over 25 speaker sessions planned for the 2019 conference. Speaker presentations are 45 minutes in length (including Q & A). Individuals and organizations interested in speaking at the conference are encouraged to submit their abstracts for consideration. Non-commercial presentations only. Sales promotions for products or services disguised as proposals will be declined.
Abstracts for all presentations will be reviewed and selected by the GeoAlberta Speaker Committee. The Speaker Committee will select abstract submissions using the following criteria:
Value of the Subject:
The presentation scope and originality must be of interest to a significant number of conference attendees. Your abstract shall indicate which audience segment would be most interested in your presentation and what will be learned from the presentation. Ideally, your presentation will provide conference attendees with:
Quality: Abstracts will be reviewed for quality, originality, and innovation. They will be reviewed and ranked for acceptance and placement in the program.
